Aghh! This is how Bupple started, from frustration. I was working a regular 9 to 5 as a developer back in 2020. I was happy, but I wanted to earn more money. I decided that the way I will earn more income was by starting a side hustle. But which side hustle?
After many months of researching well into the night about passive income streams, I found that the easiest path was by having a social media account that sells products. All I would have to do is create content consistently, grow my page to 5,000 followers and find a product to promote or sell. Sounded easy enough, so I started doing it.
It went well for the first two months. Then reality hit me. I thought I could create content day in, day out. But I was finding myself struggling to create content. I was spending a lot of hours figuring out what I should post about. Then even more time actually creating the content itself. Finally, after having hit ‘Publish’, I would spend even more time engaging with the audience. It was too much for me.
I didn’t have time to create content for my side hustle. My full time job was priority number one. So I started to look for ways I could automate content creation. I couldn’t find anything. Either the solution was too expensive or made work even more complicated and time consuming. I wasn’t sure how I could continue working on my side hustle. I seriously thought of giving it up, but I was a developer, so I knew I could create something on my own..
I took matters into my own hands and developed a custom tool for my biggest pain point–post descriptions (I am not a native English speaker). Right around the same time I discovered that other content creators are also experiencing the same problem as I have. They were asking around for a solution to the same problems as I was having. Aha! That’s how Bupple was born.
